APJ and DAS are our two subsidiaries specialising in providing legal protection and information. Their teams of specialist legal counsels listen closely to our members and customers in order to assist them and act on their behalf in the event of a dispute.




APJ : certified expertise

Legal Protection Assistance (APJ) is the legal protection insurer of MAAF and GMF members. It is also one of the leading legal protection market providers for individuals, with more than 6 million policyholders as of 31 December 2015.

Availability and education are central to each APJ action: its Legal Protection services are available 24/7 via member spaces on gmf.fr and maaf.fr and allow policyholders to report a dispute remotely, follow the file’s progress or download useful documents (legislative texts, practical datasheets, standard letters, etc.).

 



It provides a recognised quality of service, as AFNOR has certified the APJ legal advice call line service ISO 9001 compliant. This equally attests to the skills and commitment of its employees.

DAS : the professional for professionals

DAS provides legal protection for the MMA brand’s insurance companies. Its 120 legal counsels do everything possible to secure and simplify the daily lives of nearly 2 million customers by providing them with information and helping them to manage their disputes.

This local relationship resulted in 156,000 calls for legal information and 27,000 disputes handled in 2016.

Its recognised expertise has DAS made it the leading legal protection provider for businesses. In order to strengthen this position, DAS also launched Lexéa, a brand exclusively dedicated to professionals, in autumn 2016.



This new brand has two ambitions :

  • To generate additional turnover through the service’s trend towards more negotiations on behalf of our professional customers ;
  • Confirming DAS’s shift towards providing bespoke legal protection.
