Commitment, optimism and confidence
“ Zéro tracas, zéro blabla” ( “No fuss, no waffle”) is the historical slogan of MMA, which dates back to 1828 when the first of the mutual insurance companies was created, later forming “Mutuelles du Mans Assurances“ (MMA).
This highly well-known signature itself symbolises the positive vision of insurance that lies at the very heart of the MMA culture
This culture of service is seen through the investment of MMA employees and agents in their policyholders, in a direct relationship in which human contact is based on trust.
With more than 1,700 sales outlets throughout France, MMA is also a local mutual insurance company offering comprehensive solutions and services for professionals, companies and individuals:
- Professional Risk insurance
- Business Risk insurance
- Property insurance
- Savings and Life insurance
- Health and Protection insurance
- Financial services
Agents and brokers
MMA agents and partner brokers, themselves business managers, share the same entrepreneurial issues, ambitions, constraints and culture as their customers.
As knowledgeable observers of the economic fabric of their geographical area, they are true stakeholders in local life. Above all, however, they are insurance risk experts for individuals, professionals and businesses.
Closeness and complicity
The density of MMA’s territorial grid, with some 1,739 sales outlets spread throughout France, constitutes one of the main strengths of its network of general insurance agents, providing greater efficiency and responsiveness.
Individuals too benefit from the brand’s desire to be close to its members and customers, even remotely. This is because the mma.fr website offers functions, educational content and simple navigation for use by all.
Lastly, closeness is also a shared state of mind, set of values and commitment. It is with this in mind that in September 2015, MMA launched the “Fondation MMA des Entrepreneurs du Futur” (the MMA Foundation for Future Entrepreneurs), which rewards the best local initiatives for stimulating employment and development, with the annual “Grand Prix des Bonnes Nouvelles des Territoires” (Grand Prize for Territorial Good News). In 2016, the Grand Prize was awarded to the “Compte Nickel” company.
This year, the 8th edition will be awarded in June with prizes totalling €30,000. Details of every initiative awarded a prize will be published and widely announced in the media, and the initiatives concerned will also be mentored to accelerate their development.
Business risk expert
To confirm its position as the natural and trusted partner of professionals and business managers, MMA aims to position itself as the best business risk management specialist.
MMA’s employees and agents, like its partner brokers, provide everyday assistance for entrepreneurs in all phases of their insurance process :
• Risk assessment and prevention ;
• Bespoke advice on choosing the most suitable solution ;
• Management of agreements, services and associated services ;
• Assistance in case of regulatory changes.
With expertise and a sense of customer service that cover all dimensions of their work: protection of the work tool, preservation of business if the manager is unavailable, coverage of business responsibilities and, since the Interprofessional National Agreement came into effect on 1 January 2016, selection of a supplementary health insurance fund for all employees.
