Mutualist and practical
The Mutuelle Assurance Automobile Artisanale de France - MAAAF - was created in 1950, in Niort, with the aim of offering local tradespeople the possibility of mutual insurance for their professional vehicles, in a spirit of solidarity and economy.
MAAF very quickly experienced strong growth. It diversified its offers and abandoned the "Automobile" A, which had become too restrictive, to take the name that it still retains today. Seventy years later, its original values and spirit are still relevant.
Guided by a mutual spirit imbued with common sense, MAAF remains the historical insurer of the artisan world, even though its offer now caters for all customer segments and covers all areas of insurance: property and casualty, business risks, savings and life insurance, health and personal protection, loan insurance, assistance.
