A joint subsidiary of MAAF, MMA, Mutuelle Générale de la Police and AGF, Santéclair centralises the consulting and service operations of its parent companies in the health sector. Its objective is to help policyholders look after their health at a reasonable price, thanks to innovative services, and access to partner networks, opticians and optometrists, dental surgeons, orthodontists, pharmacists and hearing-aid acousticians. One of the highlights of 2008 was the implementation of a new web application for policyholders. The Hospital Information Web Tool (OWIH) is a unique service which provides information about the quality and price of healthcare at public and private hospitals. Another innovation is the network of professionals set up to offer brand-name hearing aids at 40 to 50% of market value. In order to further improve the quality of its dental network, in 2009, Santéclair intends to launch a call for tenders for dental surgeons. Lastly, innovative Internet services are being developed, such as a stop-smoking assistance site and the expansion of the OWIH site to include oncology. |
