A major player in the french assistance market

A specialist in assistance active the world over, Fidélia Assistance is positioned among the leading players on the French market.

The company provides 24/7 assistance around the world, from medical care (repatriation, medical evacuation), to vehicle assistance (breakdown and towing service). Its services also include local assistance for policyholders and customers in difficulty, from locksmith and plumbing work to domestic services, psychological support and care.

New challenges in 2008

After taking charge of assistance operations for MMA, Covéa Risks, Nexx and Novéa in 2007, in addition to those of GMF, much of 2008 was spent transferring assistance operations from MAAF Assurances and its partners (Assurances Banques Populaires, Protec BTP, etc.), Covéa Fleet and Lybernet.

This new challenge was met with success. As planned, assistance for the members and customers of MAAF was switched over to Fidélia on 1 January 2009. On this date, Fidélia Assistance became responsible for the assistance of all Covéa brands - the management of nearly 9,000,000 files.

This historical milestone symbolises the important progress that has been made, above all for the beneficiaries of Group assistance. They benefit from a specialised organisation tailored to their every need, which can offer a broader skill set and more efficient services because of its size. Its services will be both strengthened and diversified thanks to the drive of the Covéa Group, in particular through the use of synergies and services set up by other divisions within the Group: Covéa AIS, Santéclair, Covéa Tech.
