As the assistance structure for the entire group Group, Fidélia Assistance has become the third largest insurance provider on the French market with over one million claims processed in 2009, against 540,000 one year earlier, and gross premiums of 333 million euros, up 64%.

Over 13 million policyholders
As the assistance structure for GMF, then MMA, Covéa Risks, Nexx and Novéa, since 2007, Fidélia has assisted the policyholders of MAAF, Covéa Fleet, and Lybernet as well as their partners, Assurances Banques Populaires and Protec BTP. The purpose of this concentration is to reinforce collaborative claims management and assistance, which is a key factor in the quality of the services provided to customers.


In total, over 13 million policyholders may call on Fidélia Assistance for 24/7 assistance In all, more than 13 million policyholders can use Fidelia Assistance which is available 24 hours a day France and around the world in three areas: vehicle assistance (breakdown and towing service), medical care (repatriation, medical evacuation), and local assistance (emergency help, housecalls).
 
Bigger to serve you better
Fidélia Assistance employs almost 1,000 full-time staff on two sites in Tours and Saint-Cloud. They processed 7 million calls in 2009. To support this new change of scale, in Spring 2010 the company opened a third call centre in Nantes. By 2012, 350 full-time jobs should be created, in addition to seasonal jobs during busy periods.

Fidélia takes into account climate risk
Fidélia works with Climpact to predict and model the impact of weather on its business, especially on auto assistance which is particularly prone to heat and cold waves. From our call centre to the towing service, these forecasts help Fidélia Assistance adapt its resources and alert its partners ahead of time, resulting in better service and faster action taken for policyholders.
