January 2009 - GMF, MAAF and MMA always there for members

The Covéa group, bringing together mutual insurance companies GMF, MAAF and MMA, demonstrated its solidarity with policyholders that incurred damages during the storms that swept the southwest of France on 24 January, by waiving deductibles for claims filed by individual policyholders eligible for Natural Catastrophe coverage under the orders published by public authorities this morning.

Already on Monday morning (19 January), the Covéa Group had announced that it would not apply storm insurance deductibles and would cover vehicles not covered for loss (individual policyholder risk).

The Group still has 1,200 claims managers taking calls and making themselves available to GMF, MAAF and MMA policyholders who have incurred damages.
