Banking services for policyholders

In partnership with French bank Banque Populaire, MA Banque (Multi Accès Banque) offers MAAF and MMA policyholders means of payment, State-regulated savings books, and consumer credit. In 2009, it set up 53,000 new contracts and counted a total of almost 200,000 customers.

Credit activity increased by 11% in a downward market, with 45,900 new loans subscribed. Although we added the Livret A to our offer of State-regulated savings books, the lowered interest rates severely cut into this line of business.

MA Banque's net banking income was up 9%.
